Every year we are honored to be a part of some of the best music festivals in the southwest. For over 5 years we have captured photos and video for KWSS Radio Station as well as several publications. Check out some of our highlights through the years including Apache Lake Music Festival, McDowell Mountain Music Festival, as well as the Pot of Gold Music Festival in Phoenix, AZ. We are always trying to stay ahead of the curve by live tweeting photos and contributing these after movies for the festivals to share. Arizona has such as strong growth in our music culture and we are definitely here to help capture it.
Our cameras travel all over the world seeing some of the most beautiful landscapes, cities, and people. We always take the time to capture a bit of each city we travel for our Cinematic Adventures. These are not commercial videos rather they are purely artistic compilations of the cities we get to enjoy and film. From San Fransisco to Dublin Ireland enjoy the many wonderful places we have filmed in the last few years in our Cinematic Adventures. We capture almost all of our trips with Canon Dslr cameras. Recently we have added the Canon C100 to our productions. Along with prime lenses and amazing luck on our travels, we have these photos and videos to remember each place forever. Feel free to share.

We had the amazing opportunity to direct and film this amazing music video with Upsahl out of Phoenix, AZ. The video follows the inspiration from Taylor Upsahl’s vision of how the world is too connected with electronics and we are all caught up in some sort of digital world. You can see what AZcentral had to say here. ( Click Here ) Here are some #BTS photos from the filming of the video. Upsahl will be releasing her new album February 2017. This is the second music video we did with Upsahl. The entire group is amazing to work with. We are very excited to have been a part of this video.

A film to raise consciousness. AS HUMANS WE ALL HAVE OPINIONS. SOME ARE INHERITED BY OUR CULTURE AND OUR FAMILY, SOME ARE LEARNED THROUGHOUT TIME, AND SOME ARE FORCED DUE TO REALITY OF THIS UNSTABLE AND EVER CHANGING WORLD. DISCRIMINATION IS ROOTED IN EVERYTHING WE DO AND SEE. THIS FILM SHARES A RAINBOW OF HUMAN DISCRIMINATION, IN ORDER TO ALLOW OUR COMMUNITIES TO SEE WITHOUT WALLS AND TO HOPEFULLY CHOP AWAY AT THE HATE THAT HAS BEEN CREATED FROM DISCRIMINATION. You Racist, Sexist, Bigot. (Official Teaser) from Sundawg Media on Vimeo.
Sundawg Media is very proud to present our first feature film Play the documentary. Play The Documentary is a film to inspire more people to play music. It features musicians and educators from all over the world sharing the simplicity of their instruments without any amplification. The film showcases amazing people doing wonderful things to help keep music in schools and accessible to our children. Play covers writers, makers, producers, students, teachers and a whole bunch of passionate people with one amazing thing in common, they love music! In the film we travel from New York to Dublin, from Galway to San Francisco. We feature artists from California, Utah, Hawaii, New York, Arizona, Ireland, and so many other places. We stopped by the Facebook campus for a fund raiser for Little Kids Rock. There we got to see many young students that have received a positive impact from the help of Little Kids Rock. We sat with some teachers and discuss the struggles of being a music teacher with no school funding as well as what it’s like getting help from Little Kids Rock. There is so much that is in this film that so many can connect…
Snake River Blues is a documentary of an American songwriter.Snake River Blues follows Sedona, AZ-based songwriter Brandon Decker and his band decker. as he records and tours for the band’s 2016 album of the same name, ultimately releasing the music with a one-month showcase in New York City at the famed Rockwood Music Hall. “I always wanted to make a film about the ‘American Dream’ as I saw it,” says Steinkamp. “It worked out wonderfully that this was organically happening with one of my best friends, Brandon Decker.” The 22-minute film documents the songwriter’s efforts and struggles to share his music in the largest fashion possible while also being an independent musician, single father and, like many musicians, fighting a substantial uphill financial battle. Steinkamp embedded with the band for much of 2016 both in the studio and on tour for concerts across the southwest and flew out with the band to New York City in the fall to capture the album’s release.
